The Camping World bowl pitted the Cyclones of Iowa State University against the Fighting Irish from Notre Dame University. The Fighting Irish put up a gallant show and were able to emerge as winners of the game. The final score was 9-33 in their favor.

Quarter 1

Jonathan Doerer scored first during the game and he got a 39-yard field goal. Later on, Chase Claypool scored an incredible touchdown after catching Ian Book’s pass.

Quarter 2

The Cyclones got two field goals from Connor Assalley in the second quarter of the match. He scored the first one from 41 yards out and the other one from 26 yards out. In between those field goals, Doerer scored another field goal from 51 yards out. Jafar Armstrong also scored a touchdown for the Notre Dame team to increase their lead.

Quarter 3

The Fighting Irish widened the gap at the top by getting a touchdown and a field goal during the third quarter. Tony Jones scored the touchdown while Doerer got the field goal from 19 yards out. Connor scored a 42-yard field goal for the Cyclones.

Quarter 4

Doerer sealed the match by scoring his last field goal of the game. He got it from 39 yards out. The Air Force Falcons and the Washington State Cougars faced off in the Cheez-IT bowl. Catch their match highlights in the next post.
